This tastefully designed boutique hotel is probably the best place to stay in southern Armenia. The brick floors, antiques hanging from the walls, wood furnishings and stone facade all blend with Goris’ historic character. While providing a rustic atmosphere it maintains modern bathrooms, cable TV and internet. It’s run by an Iranian-Armenian named Shahen Zeytourtchian, a retired surgeon who speaks five languages including English.
